Loaded Cheeseburger Fries at TD Garden
The fall was my slow season for the Stadium Food Tour. NFL stadiums don’t offer the width or depth of options that baseball stadiums and other sports’ arenas do. But now we’re back. We’re so back. I checked off Bridgestone Arena in Nashville a few weeks ago. And last week I hit three in seven days. What a week. And yes, I’m feeling the effects of such gluttony. Here’s a sneak peek at an insane seven-day run—videos are not live yet, so this is truly an exclusive.
UBS Arena, home of the New York Islanders
This was one of my first and favorite stops on the Stadium Food Tour last year. The team there knows no boundaries, and I’ve been keeping close tabs on what they’ve been cooking up this season.

CinnaBEC at UBS Arena
It’s actually fairly easy to get there from Hoboken—path/bus into the city —> LIRR straight to Elmont/UBS Arena. That last leg is 36 minutes. Driving through Manhattan and Long Island is a hard no for me, but I did pull the trigger on Ubering home. $90 but if you split with friends, it’s not bad at all. And that took 45 minutes flat. No brainer IMO especially if you take mass transit to get there. But enough about that. Onto the food—13 new items (I won’t touch on all of them, I’ll save that for the video).

Jerk Chicken Nachos at UBS Arena
The Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheesesteak was my first bite, and one of the best, of the night. Obviously that’s a killer combo, but what I also love is the option to get a half or full size. You don’t often have that choice at stadiums, so good on UBS for that. They’re making the closest thing to legit NY pizza that I’ve seen in a stadium—probably because they’re hand stretching dough every night. None of that typical dry, frozen pizza that you’d expect at a game. They’ve got Arancini, a new French Dip, a new and improved Chicken Caesar Wrap, a Benihana stand with hibachi meat and rice, Jerk Chicken Nachos (my new favorite item at UBS Arena), a breakfast sandwich menu led by their viral CinnaBEC (bacon egg and cheese between two freshly baked cinnamon buns), zeppole kebabs, and so much more. UBS Arena can go toe to toe with almost any stadium in the country. I’ve currently got them ranked #7 overall.

Flamin’ Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich at TD Garden
TD Garden, home of the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins
Expectations were all over the place coming here because I’ve heard from many that the selection sucks but one would think that in a city known for championship banners, the food would be up to par. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing to write home about but surely some strong options. And I kinda have a soft spot for the team working there because they did an entire photoshoot of your boy mid-content capture.

Fried Dough at TD Garden
Their Loaded Cheeseburger Fries are incredible. When you load up fries you run the risk of a soggy mess, but they’ve got the ratio down pat. And the burger sauce is legitimately spicy. Big fan of these. But the Fried Dough was by far the best item I tried and one of the best stadium bites I’ve had in a long time. Think of a thick, moist french toast with a slight crust, doused in cinnamon-sugar and covered in orange honey vanilla glaze. Ridiculous. Thanks for the hospitality, Boston. More to come here as I put the final touches on this video.

Chef Kwame’s Patty Palace at Barclays Center
Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets and NY Liberty
It wouldn’t be harsh to say the Nets are lucky to play in the Liberty’s arena. But despite the endless jokes about a team that has a few dozen fans, there’s no denying they throw tf down when it comes to food. Barclays leans into local vendors more than any stadium I’ve been to. Smart play considering the range of cultures that make up the Brooklyn and surrounding community.

Pizza Bagel trio at Barclays Center
Some highlights: 7th Street Burger (obviously), Chef Kwame’s Patty Palace (elite), plus a few iconic New York eateries like Junior’s Cheesecake and Levain Bakery. This is also the first time I’ve seen pizza bagels in a stadium—brilliant. Video coming here too, but this is the NBA arena to beat at the moment. Shouts to the team over there too who made this all happen.
And with that I will try not to consider the caloric and sodium intake I signed up for over the last week. Three stadium food tours in seven days was ambitious, but I’ve lived to tell the tale, and the content coming out of it will be terrific. I’m so fired up about this, you have no idea. More stadiums lined up over the next few weeks: Intuit Dome (Clippers), Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Pacers), Little Caesars Arena (Pistons/Red Wings), Rocket Arena (Cavaliers), possibly Climate Pledge Arena (Kraken) and Enterprise Center (Blues). And that’s just through March. See you out there.
