MUST WATCH television. And I’ll go as far as saying that it is currently the funniest show on TV, and I don’t think anybody who watches would have too much of an issue with that claim. This scene last night in particular had me rolling around on my couch howling like an animal. I haven’t laughed that hard in years. The best thing Silicon Valley had going for them from their inception was that they were on right after Game of Thrones. While that’s still true, the show has become good enough to stand on its own; it is funny enough to stand on its own. There’s nothing not to love about the show. It’s short, the plot is easy to follow, the characters are fucking ridiculous (Jared and Erlich in particular), and it’s laugh out loud funny. If you’re not currently aboard the Silicon Valley train, it’s mid-Season 3 right now. You can binge the first 2 seasons in a weekend. If there’s one thing I can hang my hat on it’s that I would never steer anybody to a shitty TV show.
Last night’s final scene goes toe to toe with what I thought would be the funniest scene of this entire series. Maybe the most ridiculous conversation in television history.
