I have struggled to A) fit into clothes and B) find clothes that fit me for as long as I can remember. I’m in between sizes for everything, my weight/figure fluctuates like the goddamn stock market, I feel good in the morning and get bloated after one meal and my clothes start ripping apart on my body. It’s a rough life of constantly needing new clothes because the tshirt I wore last week doesn’t fit me this week. There’s nothing more infuriating than being in between a Medium and a Large.
Every time I go to the mall I make it a point to not leave without at least 2 pairs of jeans. I walk into a store a try on jeans, they don’t fit or feel like tin foil. And the ones that do fit are like $200. Or I trick my brain into thinking I can wear slim fit pants, and it’s untrue every single time. I end up getting 2 Auntie Anne’s pretzels, couple pairs of socks, and nothing else. Next weekend comes and I have to go back to accomplish my original goal, and the cycle repeats and I’m left with the same jeans shortage.
But these new (I think?) flex denim jeans are LIFE CHANGING. I tried on these jeans and felt a sense of comfort that is unprecedented for denim pantwear. Took em off, saw the Flex Denim label, assumed they were “jeggings” or whatever the females wear, and felt like I violated myself. There I was wearing girls jeans and loving every second of it. But they weren’t jeggings. They were man jeans. Flex denim jeans for MEN.
You gotta see the mobility I have in these bad boys. I can get low to the ground like never before; feels like I’m naked. The lateral movement I get in my new Flex Denims is unlike any pair of pants I’ve ever had on. They’re comfortable like joggers, but they are far from it. They’re slim cut down low and snug on the ankles yet my thighs don’t look fat, and I have some slack by the crotch. Not being able to adjust your junk because of tight/uncomfortable pants is something girls will never go through, and for that I envy them.
Can’t believe it took me this long to discover the jeans that were made specifically for ME. I may never wear non-Flex Denim jeans ever again.
