Taco Bell To Begin Testing Delivery This Year

HuffPo: Taco Bell is currently on a mission to change breakfast, but the company is about to do a lot more than that according to an announcement from CEO Brian Niccol. In a March conversation with Nation’s Restaurant News (NRN), Niccol said Taco Bell will begin testing out a delivery service. “Even though it’s the No. 1 request from consumers, we have to make sure we can give them an experience that’s consistent with Taco Bell, and that’s what we’re working through,” said Niccol in his interview with NRN. “We have to figure it out, and I can tell you right now we don’t have it figured out.”

LAWWWWDDDD have mercy thank heavens.  We have been sent a gift from above.  What a day for America.  Boston Marathon bomber convicted on all 30 counts AND Taco Bell is going to start bringing food to my doorstep.  Everybody is a winner today on so many levels.  Show me someone not ecstatic with all of this good news, and I’ll show you a liar.  Wanting Taco Bell but not wanting to go all the way to Taco Bell has been one of the biggest obstacles to overcome in my 22+ years.  Just thinking that in the near future I can have someone deliver multiple Crunchwrap Supremes to my home gets me excited in the pants.  Taco Bell has paved the future for lazy Americans.  Brian Niccol is a goddamn pioneer I tell ya.  It’s all about being first, everyone knows that.  I can’t understand what’s taken them so long.  The other fast food chains have to step up their game now.  First it’s delivery, next they’re gonna be coming door to door selling their delectable, artery clogging treats like fuckin girl scouts.  Every action creates a reaction.  The future is bright, my fellow Americans!
