SportsNation Issued The Dumbest Tweet Of All Time Last Night

Is this the dumbest question ever?  Yes, this is the dumbest question ever.  No joke it may be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard in my 22+ years.  Last week Larry Brown said he thinks Kentucky can make the playoffs in the NBA Eastern conference this year.  And up until last night, that was one of the dumbest things ever to be on record.  While the Eastern Conference is god awful bad, the notion that a college team can compete with NBA teams is just ludicrous.  It’s hard to think people would think that’s a legitimate possibility.  But SportsNation took the throne last night.  Whoever authorized this tweet deserves to show up to the office today (hopefully late, after getting stuck in unnecessary traffic), only to the surprise of maintenance painting over their name on their parking spot.  It’s as nonsensical a thought as I’ve ever seen.

Can the best college team this year beat one of the best, if not the best, professional teams in history?  It’s such an asinine thought that it’s actually made me angry.  The jump from high school to college is so extreme.  The jump from college to the NBA is astronomical.  It’s apples and oranges.  18 year olds against grown men.  This is disrespectful to anyone who has ever been drafted to the NBA.  The fact that there are legitimate people who think that this Kentucky team can contend with ANY professional team let alone the ’95-’96 Bulls is PREPOSTEROUS (except maybe the Knicks).  I’ll do you one better, this Kentucky team probably couldn’t beat the John Wall/DeMarcus Cousins/DeAndre Liggins/Eric Bledsoe UK squad.

This is why nobody cares about SportsNation.  What an absurd tweet.  Happy Friday ya bums!
