We Are Going To Brazil!

Tuesday night was incredible. Although I was sick and asleep for almost the entire game, I still enjoyed it. The US Men’s national soccer team qualified for the World Cup next June in Brazil. It was only a matter of time. They are in a stretch of their best soccer they’ve ever played. The last 6 months or so has been just great soccer. I know a lot of people hate on soccer, but when it’s your country, personal opinions stand aside as we cheer for the red white and blue. And with yesterday being a day we all have heavy hearts for, Tuesday night gave this nation another thing to look forward to. I’m not saying we’re gonna win the World Cup, but come June, you will see some cool shit all around. Non-soccer fans become big soccer fans. People get UP for the World Cup in hopes that the United States can provide some entertainment. With guys US legends like Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey, and Tim Howard, it’s hard to say that there’s low expectations. With brilliant coaching from Klinsmann and solid play from Bradley, Johnson, and Altidore you never know what can happen. They’ve been dominant on set pieces, and they’re red hot right now. Hopefully they can stay hot (and healthy) throughout the fall/winter/spring. Here’s a little reminder of how awesome the World Cup was just a few years ago (Warning: Goosebumps, maybe tears, expected.)

  1. I have to admit that I had my doubts when Klinsmann came in to take charge of USMNT. I guess it had a lot to do with the fact that I was a big fan of Bob Bradley. Fortunately, I was wrong…Klinsmann has done a great job and although I never agreed with Donovan taking that sabbatical, It really helped him come back hungrier than ever. Dempsey has been solid and along with Bradley have been the set stones for the national team. Can’t forget about Howard, that guy has an amazing skill that has kept us alive through the toughest matches. I am also excited about the young players that are stepping up. Nothing but good stuff coming for U.S soccer in the next few years.

As a fellow Outlaw I must admit that everyone around the country and even outside, has been doing a great job in every game. We are growing in numbers and definitely excited to join Outlaws in Brazil for the World Cup.
